Whether you are a new, emerging or experienced researcher employed by the Waitematā District, please come and join us in Microsoft Teams. This is a space to communicate with likeminded professionals within Te Whatu Ora - Waitematā, find resources, ask questions, offer support to others, or perhaps just feel that you’re not doing this on your own. Waitematā employees can be added to the Team by contacting [waitemataresearch@tewhatuora.govt.nz](mailto:waitemataresearch@tewhatuora.govt.nz) ### Thematic analysis Thematic analysis (TA) is a widely-used qualitative data analysis method that focuses on identifying patterned meaning across a dataset. TA can be applied in lots of different ways, to lots of different datasets, to address lots of different research questions! The most widely cited approach to thematic analysis is that developed by psychologists Virginia Braun and Victoria Clarke.
