Since 2008, the Research and Knowledge Centre has maintained the Waitematā research approval registry. In this period, we have facilitated more than 4000 research projects, with around 1200 in active conduct at any one time. A portion of these are in collaboration with external researchers from other health districts, academia and industry. The Research and Knowledge Centre team are available to support you and Health New Zealand - Waitematā achieve its purpose and promise of 'best care for everyone'. This site has information to help you find the resources or person to help you develop, design, analyse and report the outcomes of your research or audit question, where to apply for funds, and how to navigate the ethical, privacy and research approval pathways.
