Bronlund Trust - Education and Travel Awards 2023 --- **Opens for applications:** TBA **Closes:** TBA --- In his will, Mr A.D. Bronlund made provision for **non-medical staff** to **acquire further experience and knowledge.** The amount the fund has accrued to will be confirmed with the Trustees, to be expended for activities that will take place within 12 months following the application. Applications for this fund may be made by individuals or by groups or services. The original intent of the Trust was for overseas activities to gain experience and knowledge, but please discuss in advance of submitting an application if these professional development activities are in NZ, or if it would be acceptable for an external trainer to deliver the training activity via Zoom, or similar, if suitable. The fund is not to be used for postgraduate study, or conference attendance, however fees and costs associated with a conference workshop would be considered eligible. The application form and guideline for 2021 are available below and can be used as a *guide* for future rounds. The applications request endorsement and sign-off by managers. The application form specifies the signatories for AHS&T, Midwifery, and Nursing. Please discuss your application with the relevant signatory well in advance of the closing date. The review panel consists of senior leaders. The applications selected for funding must also be reviewed and approved by the holders of the Trust (Perpetual Guardian). The announcement of the awards will depend on the number of applications. Applicants should note the following: - No extensions of time will be given. - Incomplete applications (e.g. without signatures, endorsement, or attachments) will not be accepted.
